Why LED Displays Need Calibration
LED chips are manufactured with natural variation — even chips from the same production batch have slightly different brightness and colour temperature. Without correction, a large video wall would show visible seams between cabinets (some modules appear warmer, cooler, brighter, or darker). Per-pixel calibration uses a calibrated camera to measure the actual output of every pixel and stores correction coefficients in the controller. When the display runs, the controller applies these corrections in real time, making every pixel appear identical.
