Choosing the right pixel pitch for your space

Pixel pitch is the distance between two adjacent LEDs, measured in millimetres. A smaller pitch packs more pixels per square metre, giving sharper visuals at closer distances — but at higher cost.

Our rule of thumb: minimum viewing distance in metres ≈ pixel pitch in millimetres. A P1.5 wall is sharp from 1.5 m, a P6 outdoor wall reads cleanly from 6 m and beyond.

For lobby and boardroom installations where viewers sit within 3 m, we typically specify P1.2 to P1.9. For outdoor façades read from across a plaza or street, P5 to P10 delivers the right balance of impact and economics.

When in doubt, walk the actual viewing distances on site. We bring sample modules to every survey for exactly this reason.
